With packed lunch After an early morning breakfast transfer to Volcanoes National Park headquarters at Kinigi ahead of the Mount Kalisimbi Volcano Trekking. At kinigi along with other hikers, you’ll begin with registration after you’ve been a signed with a ranger guide to guide all the way to the summit & back. The ranger guide will give you briefing of the hiking, what to expect & the park in general. Transfer to the starting point and there’ll be porter to hire to help you carry the extra Lagguge. You’ll be camping halfway and the chef will do the food preparation for you r overnight in the volcano.

After enough resting of the previous day, early morning after breakfast proceed to the  Kalisimbi summit which has the spectacular views of the active volcano namely Mount Nyiragongo & Nyiramugira in addition to dense forests, beautiful landscapes, surrounding communities and the great Virunga mountains ranges. You’ve an opportunity of taking many pictures and then begin descending back which will take most time of the day arriving at the car park late after and your driver guide be ready to take you to the hotel. Another early morning start for a trip to track the golden monkeys. These primates are beautiful, endangered & more agile than the mountain gorillas. They live in bamboo thickets on the lower slopes of the mountains & tracking them acclimatizes you perfectly to the slight altitude marking your last views of the park's environs. Drive for roughly 2.5 – 3.5 hours south-east back to Kigali marking an end of the 4 Day Dian Fossey Grave Hike, Bisoke & Golden Monkey Trekking, Volcanoes National Park.
