After an early morning Breakfast at your residence in Entebbe or Kampala, your entire safari driver guide with a safari vhicle to be used for your safari meets you, shortly after safari briefing transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. On our way we will briefly have a stop over at the Equator line for a moment to do picturesque and take a walk to do the shopping of preferred items like the coffee, Uganda national team football jazzy, gorilla jumpers extra extra. Continue to Lake Mburo NP and check in at the hotel for lunch to be served and later proceed to do a boat trip.
During the boat cruise in with game drive be prepared with camera charged battery to make photographs of wildlife and birdlife. Return to the lodge for a spontaneous dinner in the wilderness before heading to your cottage for an overnight. Overnight at Rwakobo Rock or similar
Early morning breakfast will be followed by a walking safari
Experiencing Africa's wilderness areas is integral to most of our trips, and there's no better way than on foot. Walking safaris in Africa are completely different to game drives – being on foot brings about a totally new way of understanding your surroundings.
Walking safaris were the original safari and remain the purest form. Away from the comfort of the 4WD safari vehicle your senses suddenly awaken as the bush becomes more ‘real’. This is where humans evolved and experiencing the sounds and smells just as all our ancestors did can be profound. Encountering animals on their terms as a participant in their world can be far more rewarding than just spectating – few things are as humbling as meeting a wild buffaloes on foot.
This will be integrated with a game drive and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp or Similar
After an early mornings Breakfast join a team of UWA rangers at the park sector to take you through the Gorilla Trekking which is not only fascinating, but a lot of fun. It’s often a more active experience that involves adopting a very submissive pose while in the presence of these forest giants. Gorillas tend to move around more, and you can feel like a child on an adventure following them through the forest. Gorilla Trekking session can be anything from 2 – 8 hours and once you find them, you will be around to stay with them for an hours. After the gorilla trekking experiences return to the lodge and take time to go through the pictures you took during your interaction with gorillas. Overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp or Similar
After a leisurely morning Breakfast, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Nestled in a valley between Kisoro & Kabale, Lake Bunyonyi is one of the most beautiful lakes in Uganda and after your gorilla trekking experience relaxing and chilling over the lake bunyonyi is the best way to reinvigorate after the gorilla trekking experience. Overnight at Arcadia Cottages or similar.
After an early morning breakfast, embark on the journey back to Kampala/Entebbe. If you have an outbound flight same day it has to be something after 8pm as expected time to be in Entebbe will be around 5 pm. Your guide will leave you at your residence or airport marking an end of your trip.
